Elliot Deutsch first performed with the Mutaytor at the Galaxy Theater in Anaheim in January 2006. Since then he has contributed the powerful sound of his trumpet to countless shows up and down the West coast. As a member of The Mutaytor, Elliot Deutsch has performed at The Fillmore, The Henry Fonda Theater, The Download Festival, San Diego Street Scene, 3 House of Blues locations, Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, and more.

Although he is one of the youngest members of The Mutaytor, Elliot has already performed with many top artists including: B.B. King, Lalo Schiffrin, Kenny Burrell, Jon Faddis, Lee Ritenour, Les McCann, Hubert Laws, Barbara Morrison, Eddie Floyd, Alex Acuña, Jason Mraz, and Francisco Aguabella. Elliot Deutsch has toured the United States and Europe with Solomon Burke, has played numerous times with Bobby Rodriguez’ Latin Jazz Orchestra, and was a member of The Big Pill. He has performed at the Monteux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz a Juan, Vienna Opera House, Chicago Blues Festival, among others. Elliot Deutsch is currently completing his master’s degree at CSULB where he is a soloist in the top jazz ensemble. Elliot also leads his own Big Band and is an active writer of big band music.
