Karis was born in a small town in Mexico that is only 115 years old, and moved to L.A when he was just months old. Raised all up and down the San Fernando Valley, he graduated from Chatsworth high and was the first boy in the school's history to attend prom dressed in drag! One week out of high school Karis started his costume fabrication career as an Assistant Designer, making and designing garments for Marilyn Manson's tour. After Manson, Karis worked for other artists like Slipknot, Disturbed, Queens of the Stone Age, TLC, Ludacris,Vanessa Carlton, Jurassic 5 and actresses Angelie Jolie and Daryl Hannah.

Somewhere along this journey, Karis picked up the hula-hoop and has transformed himself into one of the greatest hoop dancers on the West Coast. Audiences are transfixed by this androgynous beauty, and his charm, charisma, and sensuality have mesmerized Mutaytor audiences since 2003.
