Born and raised in southern California, Monica (sometimes known as the infamous Dangerpants) began burning up the dance floor at a tender young age. Beginning her dance study at the age of five, Monica has put her hands into many cookie jars of dance. It was in 2001 when she dropped into a friends Tribal Bellydance class that she found home. Since then she has dedicated the last five years to the study and performance of tribal style. In 2003 she became a principal dancer and director of the troupe Sundara Varna. By the time she left the group in 2004, Monica had helped form a unique and distinctive style of movement by using her training in various dance forms. Moving on to expand her performance repertoire, she was a member and worked as an assistant choreographer in the vaudeville style circus troupe Lucent Dossier, and continues to work with other performance and dance troupes. Early 2005 brought Monica to the amazing family that is The Mutaytor , where she has found inspiration to reach new levels of performance.
